Let me introduce you to an open-source project – JSonar (Joy with Sonar). JSonar is a set of JAWS scripts that enables users read the screen on Cakewalk Sonar. It is a very useful and powerful tool for visually impaired musicians enabling them to work on a computer-powered sequencer.
The project is developed and maintained by JSonar development team with multiple contributions from the community of JSonar users.
JSonar now support several languages including English, Russion, Dutch, German and Swedish.

There is another Cakewalk Sonar screen reader titled CakeTalking selling for $289. It supports the latest version of Sonar 8.0.
